Job Description

Our Fabrication/Tech Shop in Anderson, California, has an immediate opening for an Industrial Software Developer. This position utilizes state-of-the-art imaging equipment and processing to optimize production. This is a unique position that allows you to be involved from concept to commissioning.

About The Position
• Engineer high-performance, low-latency software to optimize the production and yield during manufacturing.
• Architect complex algorithms to mathematically model multiple dependent geometric axes.
• Collaborate closely with Control Systems Designers and Mechanical engineers to create solutions that meet production requirements.
• Develop and implement updates for a variety of existing computer programs.
• Assess and define scope and timelines for assigned work.
• Manage development efforts including pre-plan reviews, projected cost analysis, resource availability, and related documentation.
• Provide some phone support for division technicians for new and existing software.
• Some overnight travel to locations in California and Washington.

• Minimum 2 years work experience in related field.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable degree.
• Solid understanding of geometry and trigonometry.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Windows desktop programming using Microsoft Visual C++.
