We are seeking a Computer Engineer Supervisor to manage resources and the execution of multiple projects while leading a team of Engineers at our Fabrication/Tech Shop located in Anderson, CA.

About The Position
• Ensure team implements high-performance, low-latency software to optimize the production and yield during manufacturing.
• Expect work product to meet design specifications, adhere to standard coding practices and function per requirements specification.
• Provide team with appropriate expectations, specifications, direction and resources to deliver solutions effectively and with realistic estimates.
• Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead team members to optimum performance levels and career development.
• Collaborate closely with Control Systems Designers and Mechanical engineers to create solutions that meet production requirements.
• Manage development efforts including pre-plan reviews, projected cost analysis, resource availability, and related documentation.
• Help developers resolve technical problems as well as work with department heads to solve business related issues.
• Guide and participate in application documentation, training and deployment efforts of team.
• Participate in selection of tools, technology platforms and technical evaluation of 3rd party vendor products.
• Test and validate functionality within and between applications, which could include integration, performance, and/or systems testing.
• Participate alongside the team in hands-on development.
• Some overnight travel to locations in California and Washington.

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years work experience as an effective leader in related field.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable degree.
• Strong understanding of C and C++, geometry and trigonometry.
• Experience leading in agile development or equivalent method is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop and motivate a team in strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
