You will find detailed instructions at the beginning of each application that outline the requirements necessary to complete the application. Please use the correct application form and follow those instructions carefully as they often change from year-to-year.

RETURNING Applicants: Be sure your official Fall 2025 college transcript is sent to us from your college as soon as your grades are posted since there are new deadlines for us to receive them. New applicant's parent or guardian must be employed by SPI as a full-time employee as of February 1, 2026 to qualify for this scholarship. Returning applicants must continue to meet all other scholarship requirements.

NEW Applicants: A required pre-application will need to be completed and submitted. To access the pre-application, new applicants will need to click on the NEW APPLICANT FORM link below. Provided you meet all requirements to apply, an email will be sent with instructions for setting up your personal portal. In this portal, you will find instructions to complete a formal, online application that must be completed and submitted, with all required attachments and transcripts, no later than the scholarship deadline of February 27, 2026. Be sure to order your official transcripts early so that they may be received by the deadline.

IMPORTANT: NEW and RETURNING Applications are now 100% on-line except for transcripts required from your school and any other exceptions explained in the NEW application instructions. They must be completed and submitted via the on-line portal by the application deadline of February 27, 2026. Confirm your completed application was submitted and received by checking for an email notification we send.

All NEW and 5th YEAR APPLICANTS must participate in an interview. These applicants will be offered a Zoom or Facetime interview*. Phone interviews may be available by request.
