Sierra Pacific Industries Sonora Trucking Division has an opening for a Service Technician with great opportunity for advancement. We offer a great benefit package including paid vacation, retirement contributions, company paid life insurance, and low cost health benefits.

As a Service Technician, job duties include: truck tire repair, mount and dismount tires, and perform service and minor repairs of trucks including change wheel seals, brake jobs, repair lights, oil and filter changes, and wiring. Duties also include maintaining maintenance records and performing safety inspections on trucks and trailers. We seek applicants with at least one year of recent good work history and references that can be verified. All applicants must be at least age 18. The work is fast paced and can, at times, be demanding. There is heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments. Work may consist of day or swing shift work, with some overtime, weekend and holiday work during busy production times. We promote a safe workplace in a tobacco and drug-free work environment.
