Job Description

The wage for this position is $25.96 per hour

About The Position
• Able to learn systems to include: fuel, air, water, ash control, interlock, sensors, bypass systems, and turbine generator
• Will be required to learn and operate rolling stock such as: forklifts, Manlift, scissor lift, and ash truck
• Assist in maintaining a steady flow of fuel to the boiler
• Keep accurate records
• Able to perform preventative and corrective maintenance duties as needed
• Problem-solve in various situations
• Communicate clearly with other shift operators and Co-gen personnel

Qualifications
• Knowledge of co-gen or boiler operation experience preferred
• Understanding of co-gen or boiler operation and mechanical systems preferred
