We are looking for a Technology Manager to direct an IT team that takes pride in effectively responding to business needs and directly contributing to the success of the company. This position is based out of Red Bluff, CA, or Medford/Merrill, WI.
About The Position • Manage, motivate, and effectively supervise a large team of Application Developers and Data Analysts supporting the company’s window & door division with facilities in multiple states • Partner with division leadership to plan and set priorities on projects and tasks in a dynamic and market driven environment • Utilize business and technology experience to innovate diverse software solutions across multiple development environments (predominantly IBM i and .Net) • Engage with team members and end users to facilitate productivity and enable them to excel at their jobs • Coordinate, monitor, and plan with Network Administrator(s) and Network Engineers to ensure reliable network connectivity • Collaborate with the Security & Compliance Officer in support of all security and compliance requirements and cyber response plans • Assist with troubleshooting and application development as time allows
Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Application Development, or related Computer Science program with a minimum of 3 years’ project lead or management/supervisory experience • 5 years’ experience with RPG IV / ILE RPG, as well as C++ and/or VB/.Net in a business environment • Demonstrated leadership, motivation, and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships • Knowledge of window and door manufacturing is highly preferred, experience in other manufacturing and wood products will also be considered • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within the company • Committed to the highest levels of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
