Paid vacation and 10 holidaysThis position will coordinate activities for the company's workers’ compensation program, primarily in
Shasta and Tehama Counties. The position is responsible for monitoring and coordinating treatment, care, workplace accommodations, return to work, and follow-up documentation.
About The Position• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis as necessary
• Document, process, and report on incidents and claims associated with occupational injuries or illnesses
• Attend physician appointments with injured employees
• Coordinate with management and employees on workplace accommodations for early return to work
• Monitor and report treatment progress
• Audit compliance with work restrictions
• Assist Supervisors, Claims Adjusters, HR, and Safety Coordinators with case coordination
• Gain proficiency in Incident Management and Human Resource systems
• Prepare for and attend Workers’ Compensation claim review meetings
• Appropriately respond to employee questions or concerns
• Maintain understanding of, and ensure compliance with Company Policy
• Perform data collection and documentation in support of claims administration
• Assist with various safety and human resource functions as needed
• Assist with office clerical duties as needed
Qualifications • 1+ years’ experience in Workers’ Compensation, Safety, or medical case management
• Preference given to applicants with experience in manufacturing settings
• Willing and able to travel to various medical providers on a regular basis, primarily in Shasta and Tehama Counties
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently, discretely, and handle confidential information
• Ability to establish the position as a resource and partner with operating Divisions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to achieve expected results
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

The general wage range for this position at Sierra Pacific Industries is from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to: relevant work experience, skill, knowledge, and/or education.
