Our Fabrication Shop in Shelton, WA has an opportunity for a CNC Machinist Intern. Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking motivated individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in CNC Machining and manufacturing. Gain exciting hands-on machining experience at a thriving company.

About The Position
Sierra Pacific Industries uses CNC mills and lathes in our fabrication shop.
     • Analyze manufacturing drawings to develop parts using multiple axis machining operations
     • Work in small teams to solve problems, explore new technologies, and learn
     • Work and gain experience with Engineers, Drafters, and Fabricators

Qualifications
• Currently accepted or recent graduate of a machining program or in a relevant field
• Familiarity with programing software a plus and able to read blueprints
• Possess the ability to work independently
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication, listening, and reasoning skills
